Support Services

At Lyons Support Services, our community-based support services are designed to help individuals build independence, confidence, and meaningful connections within their communities. We focus on providing the guidance and encouragement needed for each person to reach their personal goals while actively participating in everyday life.

Our trained Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work one-on-one with individuals to strengthen life skills, promote self-advocacy, and support full community inclusion. This may include:

• Assisting with community integration and participation in social or recreational activities
   
• Supporting personal goals such as employment, education, or volunteer opportunities
   
• Helping with transportation to community programs, appointments, or events
   
• Teaching and reinforcing daily living skills like money management, shopping, and communication
   
• Encouraging positive social relationships and healthy routines
   

Each plan is person-centered, meaning that the individual’s voice, preferences, and strengths shape the support they receive. Our staff are dedicated to helping each person take an active role in their own growth while feeling supported, valued, and included.
